Interview with Alan Neal, CBC Radio One “All in a Day” (21 April 2016, 3:15 pm): Celebration of the 100th anniversary of Eldon Rathburn’s birth with the first recording session in preparation for the CD “The Romance of Improvisation in Canada: The Genius of Eldon Rathburn,” produced by Adrian Matte and Allyson Rogers and featuring an all-star lineup of Canadian jazz greats: Petr Cancura (saxophones), Kevin Turcotte (trumpet, flugelhorn), Marianne Trudel (piano), Adrian Vedady (bass) and Jim Doxas (drums). The CD was recorded in the NFB’s historic Chester Beachell studio in Montreal (Ville St-Laurent) and the recording was released on Montreal’s Justin Time label on November 2nd, 2018 (see http://www.justin-time.com/en/album/588 and http://www.justin-time.com/en/profilArtist/416):
